The working group has completed it's task and submitted a report and recommendations to the Central Council for Church Bellringers.   This website is minimally maintained as an archive and a benchmark to measure future progress.

 

My story

I have never felt disadvantaged as a woman in bellringing. I learnt to ring at a twelve bell tower and received the same encouragement
as male members of the band. I was encouraged to attend ringing courses to progress. I was correspondent for several years and then became tower captain for 20 years.
