I carried out an analysis of quarter peals in Suffolk for our annual report including the gender of ringers and conductors.  The analysis is done on people's implied gender by their given name. Out of the 518 quarter peals rung in Suffolk in 2019 44% of ringers and 20% of conductors were female. The count is based on ringers rather than individuals, so if you ring in six QPs in a year you get counted six times.
